While there is always some truth that prices will be increased, this is a COMMON scare tactic used by dealers to try to push you into buying now.

Fact is that on existing models, the retail price seldom changes. The standard models in the Seamaster Pro series have had the same retail price for nearly a decade. More often what Omega does is introduce newer models at higher prices, without changing prices on existing models.

They may also increase the wholesale cost to dealers, squeezing some of the negotiating room out of the street price that you will pay.
