why does everyone (or so it seems) make such a big deal about wanting an automatic watch. From what I have read from this forum, some of us don't even know how to wind or not to wind the thing. Some people buy it because everyone else has one or because it's a "real" watch. Who cares if it is an auto or quartz or whatever hybrid they have out there. Buy the watch you want and what fits your needs not what everyone else is saying or doing. In the end, we can't take these material things with us when we leave this earth. Oh, by the way buying an auto does not make you a gentleman.
