why is it that "jewlers" scratch the hell out of..

your watch when you need it sized? Why can't they be careful with it? Next time I will do it myself that way if I do the damage I can only blame me. Besides, I would have done a better and more careful job then the "jewelers" would. Has anyone ever had this kind of problem? If so, did you end up doing it yourself to save you the pain of getting your damaged watch back from any kind of jeweler?
