: After much deliberation, I've finally decided
: to purchase a SMP 300m black/black. However,
: I'm still going back and forth between the
: older "bond" bracelet and the
: newer speedy style. Seeing as how the bond
: bracelet will soon be unavailable on this
: model, I figured it might be wise to go
: ahead and make a decision…
: I’ve only been able to handle the bond bracelet
: (since the dealers in my area are woefully
: under stocked and unhelpful). From what I
: have read on this site, the bond bracelet is
: straight while the speedy is tapered. Does
: this affect the weight of the bracelet (to
: any degree that one could feel a
: difference?) The weight of the watch head is
: well balanced when on the bond bracelet and
: I’m wondering if it feels equally so on the
: speedy one. I know that in the end, a lot of
: it comes down to personal taste, but I
: wanted to hear anyone else's opinions and
: recommendations on this choice, especially
: from those of you who have worn both
: bracelets. Any other input as to the tactile
: (or aesthetic) differences between the
: bracelets would also be welcome. I’d love to
: hear some arguments from both sides as to
: the pros and cons. Thanks in advance for
: your replies!
: Best,
: Matt
I also agree with Keith and prefer the Speedy style bracelet for the black/black SeMP. I've also heard that the Speedy Bracelet feels lighter than the Bond one.
