Hi Marc,
Don't swim while wearing this watch. It's tough (for a vintage mechanical chrono) but it's no dive/swim watch. for that you need a Seamaster or similar watch. Better yet, get a Casio for swimming and wear the Speedmaster everywhere else. Beautiful watch!
Best,
Jeff
: I recently acquired this early-mid 70's speedy
: pro, and am having second thoughts on
: keeping it. It had a full Omega service in
: 2002, and is running great. I prefer diver
: type watches as I am hard on watches
: (basically careless), so the question is how
: tough are these watches, and has anyone
: taken them in the pool, etc? Thank
: you....marcb
