: There's a thread below that mentions the
: problems that some people have had with the
: new style seamaster bracelet and clasp,
: particularly with accidental
: "opening" of the clasp with
: incidental contact to the button and even
: loss of the stop-screw in the slide. I've
: experienced the "watch dangling on
: wrist" phenomenon already. That was
: somewhat disheartening.
: The thought of my watch totally dropping off of
: my wrist fills me with dread.
: Short of replacing the entire bracelet (not
: something I want to do: I like the feel and
: look of the one I have), what are some
: solutions? loc-tite on the stop screw? I'd
: really like to know what some of your
: experiences have been.
: Cheers,
: Steve
Consider replacing the the clasp-portion of the bracelet with the traditional clasp. You can get one from Frie and Borel.
