Re: best authorised dealer price wanted

: Are you talking the new America's Cup chrono or the "Bond" Style Chrono diver?

I got 12.5% discount the week before Christmas on the older style and felt I could perhaps have done a little better - I had not thought enough up front about how much I wanted off. Bear in mind that the "Bond" model is likely to be phased out this year so bigger discounts could be found. Having said that certainly the "Bond" model is rarely seen in shops although perhaps that is different in London. If it is special order you may get less discount - equally be warned that Omega don't seem to publicise when they are taking a model out of production. I originally wanted the Silver bezel one which was (I think still is) shown on the web site but when I enquired they had stopped production. If you are after the "America's Cup" chrono this seems like quite a hot watch at the moment so discounts may be harder. Incidentally due to a minor manufacturing fault I took the watch I originally purchased back and had one stright from Omega which took two months

Am in the market for Seamaster Chronograph,
: would appreciate advice concerning where the
: best deals can be had in the U.K. via
: recognised dealers.
: 10% seems easily obtained instead of taking any
: interest free deals which would
: "cost" the dealer credit company
: commission anyway. Can this be improved on.
: Thanks.
