If you can stand to wait about six months, do it. I have been a regular at La Swiss for 14 years (since they opened), and am quite chummy with the staff. One of the older employees advised me that the reason they no longer carry Omega is that the owner is in a snit with the Swatch Group over the fact that they have given an Omega retailing license to European Jewellers (one of their chief competitors in Toronto). This employee told me that the whole thing should blow over in about six months, once cooler heads have prevailed.
