Hello-
I have a Seamaster De Ville that was my father's. I used to wear it a lot about 2 years ago but I stopped wearing it for fear of losing it/scratching the crystal, etc. I recently wanted to start wearing it again. It seems that when it get close to midnight it stops ticking (basically when it is starting to change the date). It's an automatic so I thought that maybe I wasn't active enough, but I even wound it when it stopped and it only ticked for another 5 minutes or so. I can wear is all day though with no problem. Is the changing of the date taking too much power?
Thanks,
Nick
