Is the changing of the date
: taking too much power?
: Thanks,
: Nick
No, the problem is that there is some sort of excess friction in the date wheel or gears related to date wheel. Old watch oils may gum-up over time and it sounds like the watch has not been serviced in a while(?)
It sounds like it needs a good cleaning and oiling etc. See your local watchmaker or find out how to fix it through Omega. Go to the Omega website www.omega.ch or find the link from this one for more info.
Good luck,
