Actually, if you can wait about six months, I would recommend you do so. I have been a fairly faithful customer of La Swiss since they opened 14 years ago, and have been advised by a long-time employee as to what happened:
Essentially, the owner of La Swiss is in a fight with the Swatch Group over licensing. Specifically, the Swatch Group has given European Jeweller (a direct competitor in Toronto) a license to sell Omegas. This did not go over well with La Swiss, and in retaliation the owner has decided to pull all Swatch Group merchandise (Omegas, Movados, Swatches). But I've been told that in about six months, when cooler heads prevail, the Omegas -- and their servicing -- will return to La Swiss.
