real size of 2531.80?

it is listed as 39.3mm on omega webcite.
but i also find someone here mentioned it is 41mm. however the moonwatch looks like much smaller, even it is 38.8.

i went to the jewller today and 2531 covers my whole wrist---guess that is too big for me
my friend suggests that i should see at least one link of braclet from each side, anyone give me some suggestions? or is it a trend that a man shall wear big watches?
