If you really mean your normal usage is at the level of *abuse*, then you would be foolish to use an expensive luxury wristwatch in that situation.

But if you were exaggerating, and really meant "is the SMP pained bezel up to handling normal daily wear?" -- then there should be no cause for worries.

Certainly it is possible to damage any watch--whether it is a Timex or a Rolex--all metal jewelry can be banged and marred. But I've had my SMP with the similar blue bezel for 5 years of daily wear and no mars on the pained part of the bezel. Omega uses an anodizing paint that bonds to the metal, so is hard to scratch off.
