: Not to sound critical, but it seems that Omega
: will use any excuse to release a Limited
: Edition watch. They must make some money on
: it. Look at all the LE Speedmaster Pros
: including the recent Apollo XVII "Last
: Man on the Moon" and the upcoming
: "Snoopy Award" LE. Look how many
: Speedmaster Michael Schumacher Limited
: Editions there are including the new Broad
: Arrow based.
: The James Bond LE sold out very quickly due to
: the timing of it's release to coincide with
: the release of the film. They were largely
: sold out before the film even opened.
: I have a Seamaster Pro America's Cup LE. But I
: didn't get it for the LE "value",
: I got it because of my childhood/early
: adulthood fascination with Sailing and The
: America's Cup. I think you should only buy
: these LEs for the reason that you have some
: interest in whatever they commemorate, not
: necessarily for some future value
thanks for your thoughts.future value or collectors item on LE is not the reason for me to buy.But what interest me as you have said. The only thing I will be upset is when an "LE" of 9k or 10k units made will continue to make 9k,10k more then its not LIMITED at all. Will Omega do that? p.s you may want to listen to "SAILING" by Christopher Cross. :)
