My view on the "real or fake" question

Hi. I've been reading all those posts about the authenticity of the OMEGA SMP 2531.80 watches and, in my humble opinion, i think we can easily check if some SMP watch is real by looking at 3 aspects of it's exterior: the luminous marker on the bezel, the bracelet and the serial number. I never saw a fake OMEGA SMP with the right luminous marker on the bezel. They always have those oversized - raised above the surface - luminous markers on the bezel. Concerning the bracelet, the real one is magnificent, impossible to be replicated. If one could replicate that bracelet, the final cost of the watch would be so high, much above the 100 dollars (the usual price of a "perfect replica"). The whole purpose of the fake deal (the little price) would loose it's meaning them. About the serial number, i think it really kill the question. You will never find a fake with a plausible serial number. Just my view on the subject.
