speedmaster winding

Hi there,

I have received my brand new Moon speedmaster sapphire/ saphire glass back watch today. The question that I have is how much winding do you do?

When I wind it, the winding just goes forever. Does it ever stop? If so, should I just keep winding until it stops? or is there an ideal number of winds you do?
