Omega Seamaster Date Window

I have a Seamaster Pro Automatic. I got it in December 2002. The date indicator falls slightly high in the window. Not in the center, but also not that bad. The top of the numbers just about touch the top of the window. Is there any thing short of sending it back to omega service I can do. This watch has lost 1 sec. in 4 months and I don't want to risk loosing the accuracy.
