I had the same problem with my seamaster too. Follow Derek's advice first and foremost and after you have done everything and your watch continues to behave the same, send it back to omega. I sent my watch to an authorzied Omega repair center and the watchmaker found out that the seconds hand was actually too high that it gets stuck against the glass. I can't believe the quality control on this watch! Anyway, I still love Omega's and I think they are still one of the best watches.
