Loose SMP concern (important)

Hi guys,

I got my Seamaster (2254.50) recently and am very pleased with it. Great watch! However, there is one area of concern that I have come across...
If I press down a bit on the bezel on either side between the lugs, the bezel seems to move or bounce a wee bit. This is only about a fraction of a millimeter but it does have a definite space to it which allows for some very slight movement when pressed. The only reason I noticed this is that I am dentist and I am pretty anal about minute details anyway...
My concern was that this might allow water entry if I was surfing or diving. Perhaps this is normal and is simply to allow proper movement of the bezel, I don't know. I just want to be sure I didn't get a faulty watch as everything else about it is superb! So guys, is this normal or should I get it checked out?
