Re: What do Rado, Bvlgari, Montblanc Watches Rank?

: the beloved Omega are not mentioned. What do
: you guys think which categories Rado,
: Bvlgari and Montblanc watches should fit in?
: Also, reasons will be appreciated, thanks!

All three of those brands are known for their exterior styling -- not their interior workings.

I would rate Rado and MontBlanc in the Pseudo Luxury category. While they offer neat styling, neither of these are likely to offer the longer term value of the true Luxury brands.

Bvlgari is a bit harder to fit in to my admittedly simplified categories. I'd say they fit in the Luxury category -- mainly on the merit of their style and craftsmanship. Bvlgari is known for jewelry grade fashion exteriors and contemporary design. My understanding of the movements they use are that they are very good -- but nothing unique to their brand or otherwise horologically noteworthy.
