Bought it from a dealer in New York. I actually think it just might have been polished out. In comparing it on this site, it seems authentic. The band is marked 824 on the 1 and 7 position, it has the correct clasp and the inside of the clasp is marked Stainless Steel with the Omega symbol in a triangle, a number 32 in a circle and the numbers 1502/824. The outside of the clasp has the Omega symbol and lettering, Seamaster and Professional.
The dial looks absolutely correct, the hands are correct and the crown and helium crown look correct as well. It also 'feels' real if you know what I mean. I think it is just gray market.
The dealer was very knowledgeable about the watch, and he had many (75+) other high end watches -- Ebel, Rolex, Movados, Concords, etc.
I'll take some pictures later this evening or tomorrow and post them.
