Hi, thinking of buying a used Chronograph (one and a half years old)...Two questions:
1) What has always attracted me to an Automatic watch is watching the second hand sweep around the face (as sad as that may sound)...With the SMP Chronograph the large second hand remains stationary unless the timer function is used. The little dials second hand doesn't hold the same enjoyment. If I were to have the stopwatch function running the whole time will this have any long term effects on the internals of the watch?
2) I'm certain this is the genuine thing although I always have some doubt when buying second hand (It has a serial number and box and filled out card showing original purchase date) but just out of curiosity, how likely is a SMP chronograph to be fake. I'm assuming that it would be a difficult proposition that most fake producers would prefer to avoid.
