6 inch wrist here. My first SMP was the GMT, and they don't make it in mid so I went with it. Not long after I did end up buying the blk/blk seamaster in mid. I love them both. If you're used to wearing big divers watches go full sized. I like the mid because it is onobtrusive and just the "right" size. I do still wear my GMT and my Seiko Black Monster and other big watches too. I may favor the mid size a little more however.
