Since "quick setting" the date on my Seamaster GMT involves spinning the hour hand rather than directly spinning the numbers through the date window, is it ok to set the date in this fashion without concern for the actual time showing on the watch face, or should I adhere to the usual safety practice of first ensuring that the time is say between 4:00 and 8:00, and therefore adjust the time to this range through spinning the minute hand BEFORE doing the "quick set"?
