Thank you for your response. Actually I have read this article before and it mostly focuses on the 10th anniversary edition and only a small amount of space given to the 20th anniversay model.
In reading other Chuck Maddox' articles I found that in 1989 there were at least 3 different commemorative models: one of 250 for the German market; another of 2000 for the US market and 4000 for the rest of the world.
I believe the first two have the limited edition inscription on the side of the case but not the third. This information is in Chuck's "Table of Omega Speedmaster Case Reference Numbers" Thanks again for the help.
