Most of the casing numbers and identification (besides the movement's serial number) go on the inside of the backplate. So unless you are needing to replace the back, too, you will have everything except the serial.

But, it is not like there are *fake* replacement cases out there that fit with the rest of the genuine parts. So I an unclear what your point of concern is. If you need to replace the case (yours was significantly damaged?), then do so -- there is absolutely no need to fret about the markings. If your watch is ever questioned, such as if you ever resell it, simply provide the repair receipt showing the case was replaced. End of issue.

Haven't seen a lot of these enough to notice any other design of the inner bits. But I do know that some earlier SMPs had French made bracelets that had some quality issues and were discontinued in favor of Swiss made ones. When you see a no-hole one again, look for any markings that indicate if it was made in France.
