If it's loosing 2-3 minutes per day, it could definitely use a trip to the shop. They will do more than just clean it. They will tear it down, clean all the individual parts, reassemble them, oil them, replace any broken parts, and make sure it's in tip-top running condition. If you go through Omega, they will also clean up your case and bracelet. See link about Omega Repair.
