Ok but what if you are a watchaholic and after your SMP bond chrono you want another Omega do you go for the speedmaster pro moon or do you go for the GMT white face ???
Ok it gets a bit more complicated: I like the chronograph functtion ( that is why I already have a breitling jupiter pilot and a Seiko chronograph both quartz though), I also like the tachymeter which I do not have on any other watch (apart from a swatch of course...), I also like the slightly old fashioned look of this watch, plus my late grand father used to have one so it has sentimental value. I also think it is quite smart for a sport watch. It is manual and has no date which means it is more practical to use as an occasional watch.
But the GMT on the other has a white face (this will go well with my white shirts) it has a GMT function, Quite useful for somebody that lives in another country than most of his friends/familly, plus I have read somewhere that the GMT hand can be used as a compass... This could be useful for when my wife tries to give me directions in the car... On top of that thanks to the bezel it can be used also to time relatively long event easily. Plus it is waterproof which is useful but not paramount as all my other watches are rated more than 150 meters.
Decisions decisions... can anybody out there help?
