some possibilities & questions
In Response To: Square Omega ()

Hi Kathleen,

Do you still have the watch could you describe it a bit more for us ( the best description, would be to ask a watch maker to remove the back & give you the case Ref # stamped on it).

I have a few possibilities (below), but believe me Omega have made many many watches that are not "round".

You state you husband "thinks it is a seamaster chronograph". That's easy. A chronograph will have some subdials & extra pushers on it.

Does he mean chronometer ? This refers to the accuracy of the watch (not the functions)?

Here are some "non-round" seamasters. I have deliberately picked very different watches, to show you some of the variations out there. (all pictures borrowed from oBoy)

& sorry but I couldn't find an example of a seamaster "square case" chronograph, but here's an example of what the case on it's own looks like

Has anyone ever seen an omega watch that has a
: square face. It is really quite large. My
: husband was given it by his father and we
: are trying to find out more information but
: all my searching has found only round ones.
: he seems to think it is a seamaster
: chronograph by I am not so sure. Any help
: would be appreciated.

: Thanks

: Kathleen
