Hi Cyberland;
I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the heritage and quality of Omega. I have the opportunity to by an early 70's Speedmaster, a watch I always wanted. But, for the same amount of money I can buy a modern watch. The best technology in new watches appears to be the Citizen Titanium Eco-Drive. On a purely technical basses it is far superior. I love the history of the Speedmaster and it's proven quality, I would be uncomfortable using and abusing it in daily ware and tare. At this stage it would be a functional watch not just a show piece. I need a push to make this purchase.
