Re: Omega rubber strap recommendations, wrist shot

: Hi there!

: I'll finally be buying a rubber strap for my
: 2254.50 (below) tonight, but I'm still not
: sure which one to get: The double ridged
: divers strap with double deployant, or the
: dressy AC-style flat rubber with fold-under
: deployant that doesn't need to be cut to be
: sized.

All I can say is that I had the "America's Cup" style strap for a while. I sold the strap and clasp because I found that the strap pulled wrist hair, no matter how loose/tight it was. Another problem was that the "fold under" clasp made contact with my wrist at all the wrong places. It did not "curve" correctly for my wrist. I even tried "European" vs. "American" mounting of strap, nothing quite worked. I must say, it looked great, but did not work for me.
Good luck,
MMC
