Thanks for the quick follow up.
Would you say that $750.00 is a good price for a 2.5 year old one in mint condition? I like the way the watch looks, but not usre if it is reliable or worth the cost? Please let me know ASAP, because I am buying it in the next few hours.
thanks,

: It was discontinued a while ago, but is still
: available if you hunt hard with the
: internet. It was Omega's version of the
: Seiko auto kinetic. It is a self-winding
: watch, but the auto-wind mechanism is
: charging a capacitor (a type of battery),
: and the watch uses the electric power for
: powering the movement and powering the
: quartz occilator.
: The big idea was you could enjoy quartz
: accuracy with the convenience of never
: replacing a battery. But obviously you have
: to wear it to keep it powered up. I'm not
: sure if there was a "manual wind"
: function or not. I never owned one, just
: handled some in stores.
: It came in black and white faced versions. I've
: heard some say that they did not like the
: fact that the water resist. rating was shown
: on the dial as "200m / 666ft." 666
: is un-cool if you're afraid of the devil or
: some crap like that.
