zOwie Omega Discussion Forum

I just looked over at the site you're looking at (I'm pretty sure I am correct). If it was ME (and it's not) I would go for either of the other two Seamaster Midsizes as they are nearly identical in size to the one you're looking at - one is quartz for a bit less than the QM and the other is an auto I think for a bit more. The auto has the "electric" blue face (if you've never seen it I think it's very cool) and the quartz has the stndard blue face. Both are with papers and numbers intact (the auto even has the certificate). I would choose either of these over the QuartzMatic (which has been discontinued by Omega...so parts in the fuiture???) if you're looking for a smaller (36 mm) than full size (40 mm) watch...but again, I'm not any kind of an expert. If you really like the QM, by all means...it's YOUR wrist!

PS: the buzz is pretty much that if that Arkansas guy has priced at item...it's a fair deal. His reputation is STRONG!
