Received a wonderful gift from the Mrs. and my daughter in celebration of my first father's day: a Seamaster GMT! I love it, and am sure it will be a reminder of the day for years to come.

One question, however: I took it in to a local shop to have some links taken out of the bracelet. They took all out of one side, so now there's 4 links on one side, and 7 on the other. Rather lopsided. Is that common practice? It sure doesn't look or feel right....
Anyway, here's my new watch, alongside the decripit old Vostok it replaced.
