hello all.
question: i have a SMP chronometer purcahsed new in early april. i would like to test it to see where it falls within the COSC standard. when testing, does one:
1. wind up the watch fully, set the time according to atomic standard, then leave it alone in one of the 6 positions for 24 hours, then check again against the atomic standard? or,
2. wind up watch fully, wear it as normal during the day then leave the watch in one of the 6 positions for a certain period of time (ie: 8-10 hours overnight), then check against the atomic standard after 24 hours have elapsed?
thanks in advance,
AW
