I’ve posted before about my new (1 year) Seamaster Pro gaining time in all positions. As I’ve written, there is no overnight position that I can use to offset daily gains. So, I have a watch that gains about 6 seconds every day. But, recently, I became ill and spent a lot of time in bed. I guess the watch got as run down as I was. Suddenly, I was seeing 12 seconds per day of gain. It appears this watch exhibits very poor isochronistic performance. How does COSC address isochronism? Is it time for a trip to the watchmaker?
