I've been reading this forum for a few weeks and it's pretty clear that most contributers prefer chronograph watches to quartz watches. Omega certainly does judging by the price-premium for buying a chrono (my quartz Seamaster was 40% cheaper than the equivalent chrono). One contributer even claimed that a quartz Omega was essentially the same as any other quartz watch.
But isn't that true of chronograph watches? Are they all "essentially the same"? Isn't every watch mass produced - chrono or quartz? I appreciate that the insides of a chrono is more complex than the insides of a quartz - but if you want clever insides then go buy a Seiko Kinetic!
