: I'm dying to know what sort of deal you got!
Well Dave, it all started off as a hunt for a 3570.50 (Moon Watch). I really had my heart set on it but damn if I could find one with a steel bracelet. I ended up at Lugaro's in NVan. I asked the sales lady if she had any 3570.50's in stock and how long it would take to come in. She said it would take a couple of weeks but the most she could give me was 25% off (retail approx $3800 CND). I was pondering this for a while at which time she directed me to a separate show window labeled '50% off'. She presented me with the newest arrival to the group - a brand new 2296.80 SMPC-Ti/Au (retail $8800 CND) being offered for $4400 CND!!! I assume they were trying to clear some inventory but I never asked. I thought about it and decided to take the plunge. Deals like this don't come along all the time.
I still have my heart set on my Moon Watch so perhaps later on down the road......?
