Lots of great replies! I never thought of stopping the Tag when I am not using it (since I always used to wear it). Great idea!
I actually have two boys aged 12 and 15. I like both ideas about either making the watch a gift for a notable achievement or letting them earn the money. I am lucky, both are really great kids, responsible and hard working, especially the 15-year old who admires the Tag. And thanks for reminding me about how much a gift from your father means--I lost my own dad 25 years ago and have few things to remember him by, but I would never part with his bamboo fly rod.
Like I said earlier, great group!!
Thanks,
Tim
