Ladies Aqua Terra - advise/opinion

If you're a watch "fanatic" and you have a spouse/girlfriend that is not so enthusiastic about the topic, then you can understand my OLD predicament. With my 5th aniversary coming up, I thought if I could find a nice watch for my wife that she really liked, then I would be "in the clear" for buying watch #2, or more. (Humor...ok!)

So I searched "high and low" for something that would pique her interest. She started to slowly become interested in the all the detail that all of us "WISs" appreciate in fine watches.

She started learning all the major brands and all the distinguishing features that separate the junk from the good stuff. She just had trouble finding the right "look". We looked at Tudor Mini-subs, Omega Ladies SMP 120, SMP "Bond", Oris, Breitling, Tissot, EVEN Rolex.

Then, several weeks ago, she found "it" at a local auth. dealer, and I was surprised when it was the Ladies Aqua Terra with silver face. She had seen one before with the black face, and thought it looked as if there was a "Black Hole" on her wrist. Amazing what a "face change" will do to the look of a watch. Yes, I know, it's "only a quartz", but it's not for me...remember!

So I immediately called "my" auth. dealer and, WHAMMO, she is thrilled! I got a significant deal (email me if you would like contact info. for a super dealer that is authorized...and pay no sales tax!).

Opinion - If your looking for an excellent, water-resistant, elegant-but-sporty watch for the lady in your life, consider the Ladies Aqua Terra. The thing is you have to find a dealer that has one so you can handle it...pics just don't do enough.
