Press the top right button to stop or start the chronograph, the two chronograph registers (the two small 30 minute and 12 hour dials)and the large second hand will start or stop. The small seconds hand will not stop, unless the watch stops. The small seconds is not one of the chronograph registers, and runs as long as the watch is running. As you have seen the bottom right button resets the chronograph ( the large second hand, 30 minute and 12 hour registers). It will only reset after it has been stopped.
