I want to thank all for the insight. From what I am getting, and it appears consistent throughout the discussions I have had personally and have read, the Auto v. Quartz is a personal decision.
What of the value of either piece. I have heard that an auto will keep its value better than a quartz. Is this true or a "sales pitch"??
Also, and I know that this is obsessive, but with the internal mechanics, is there any noticable weight difference between the Auto and Quartz?
