Mike: In a way, we are brothers. I bought the Omega SM GMT that immediately preceeded yours on that Arkansas website. You won't be disappointed - Dr. L. has a great reputation for accurately describing what he offers. Mine easily exceeded my expectations - several friends with very good pieces (even collections) have drooled over it. The best part, however, is the years of service it will provide. Mine has the leather deployment strap - not appropriate for your intended use.
I too, have skulked these hallways for a long while and learned a great deal - enought to have chosen well for myself. I very much appreciate all those here who share their interest and expertise.
Now, if I could only find a SS bracelet at a great price my life would be complete!
