Auto more "accurate" than you might think..

An Auto might well prove rather more accurate than you would care to believe:
I bought a new SMP Auto in Feb 2002.
My own experience matches many other people's; initially the watch gained about 1 - 2 seconds a day. This has gradually reduced to *average* +0.5 seconds a day if worn 24/7.
Fastest position= Dial Up @ +1 secs/day
Slowest position= Crown Right @ -2 secs/day.
I have the habit of taking the watch off and perching it on it's bracelet in the Crown Right position whilst at my desk - and wear it the rest of the time.
I zeroed it out to my radio-controlled clock for the start of BST back at the end of March - it currently reads @ -2.5 seconds - over 3 months later!
Your mileage may vary.
Love it to bits, would never swap it for a quartz SMP personally, but each to our own!
