It's not a competition....
In Response To: I have and you have ???? ()

I've simply bought the watches I like. It has nothing to do with Omega marketing or showing off. Except for the Speedmaster Pro, all of my watches are made before 1985. & most of them were bought in the last 2 years.

I'm not in competition with anyone here ( or on any other forum ). I'm grateful however for these forums, since without them I wouldn't have any idea what was available, which ones are fakes, what the current values are etc etc.

A watch is a watch..... sure.
A car is a car ..... sure.
shoes are shoes .... sure.
cameras are cameras......sure.
a stereo is a stereo......sure.
etc etc etc

But not everyone is the same. I choose to spend my time (& money) looking at & buying watches. I have no interest in shoes. ( I walk in them & that's it !)

Each to their own.

I think your reply was meant "tongue in cheek" (that's the way I read it anyway) but to throw something back at ya.......
I don't actually believe that you think " a watch is a watch" either.

For some reason you're surfing on a watch forum & not a shoe forum :-)
