Hi, I have a question about co-axial deville.
Should I be able to hear the auto wind rotor moving?
I don't know much about watches and this is the first Omega I ever owened, but I never heard so much noise from the winding rotor in any automatic watch (none of them even close in price and, I suppose, quolity of DeVille).
It sounds as bearing (I guess, there is a ball bearing on the rotor axle) is using poligonal shapes instead of balls. Or, perhaps, like rotor is rubbing against something.
The watch has been sent (at least, according to the dealer) twice to Omega. But the problem remains, if I only wear it for 8 hrs a day, it will stop. Even several hourd in a watch winder doesn't help. May be, because the winder is cheep :) and the watch is rotating at no more than 30 degrees to horisontal plane (but again, the old citizen in the same winder is just fine), or, because the winding rotor is not as free as it supposed to be.
Thanks for help.
