I'm in the market for the James Bond Seamaster Midsize. I haven't yet decided between auto or quartz. I would like to purchase through authorized dealer, but the discounts of 35-40% is quite tempting.
Has anyone had a problem buying through an unauthorized dealer? ANy warranty issues or anything? Anyone had a problem, activated the dealer's warranty and had problems with that?
Originally the auto was too expensive for my budget, but with the huge discounts i would be able to afford it. Is it a bad idea to buy an automatic watch and not have manufacturer's warranty?
anyhow, does anyone have any suggestions of online dealers? i have found timelypieces.com, prestigetime.com, authenticwatches.com. are these reputable places? any help would be very beneficial, thanks a lot!
