Just received email from Swatch Group and here's their response to my question. They even disagreed with a published report of a Broad Arrow having the ability to operate underwater. Any advise, I'm eyeing the SMP ACC model.
** RESPONSE **
Dear Mr. Louie:
Thank you for your inquiry concerning an Omega watch. The only watch in the Omega line that can be used under water would be the Seamaster Professional 300m/1000ft, which is a divers watch.. The Broad Arrow is not one.
On behalf of Omega and Swatch Group, we appreciate the opportunity to respond to your inquiry.
Sincerely,
Carol W
** MY QUESTION **
Can you please advise which models have chronograph buttons that can be operated while underwater.
I have tried talking to local retailers in Vancouver, Canada, and many are saying none exist. A few has mentioned that the Chrono Diver and America's Cup models are able to. Someone on an Omega forum showed a scan of a Speedmaster Broad Arrow from an advertisement can also. But the retailers I have talked to feels otherwise.
The Omega web states the "Seamaster Professional Chrono-Diver" does but does not mention any other models.
Any information much appreciated
