Yes, indeed it will fade!
Iīve seen it happen (on a frequent diverīs wrist) and the hour dots had become totally white! As with the red tip on the second hand as well. White, white...
The blue bezel had faded approx 50 % or so.
The hour/minute hands had some grey/black spots on it all over.
The strong sun + salt combination mustīve done it.. According to this guy, heīs had the watch for 5-6 years. The only part intact was the crystal!
But dang, did the watch look cool and used or what! :)
