I just purchased a Quartz SMP and have a quick question about changing the battery. I have heard something about the watch needing to be pressure tested after a battery change. Does this mean I need to send the watch to Omega to change the battery, and lose the watch for a few weeks? Can any authorized dealer do this? Do I really need to get it pressure tested? Can't I just take it to a dealer and get the battery changed like all watches? Also, for servicing, who do I contact, and where do I send the watch etc.? Do I call Omega Switzerland, or what's up. Thanks!
